In celebration of the first candlelight sunday, Lily Lux shows some fresh photo booth pictures on Facebook and uploaded some hibernal little gifts you can send to your profile or others. Am ersten November 2010 hat Lily Lux angefangen, #Winterglueck auf Facebook und Twitter zu sammeln – und so entstand in täglicher Folge unser hier einzusehendes und nachzulesendes #Winterglueck-Archiv mit erstaunlich vielen  wunderbaren Glücksmomenten, die wir damals selbst gar nicht so erwartet hätten. Fast hätten wir das verpasst: Ich habe in diesem Blog erstaunlicherweise bereits 500 Posts veröffentlicht (die Herzdame war exakt der Fünfhundertste!)! Das wird gefeiert, und zwar mit unserem Lieblingsgast Lily Lux (siehe oben), einer kleinen Torte für uns Euch, und einem Pralinenherz als Dankeschön fürs Mitlesen und Kommentieren!

Und ungeplanterweise trifft die große Fünfhundert nun auch mit der neuen Zweisprachigkeit (siehe oben rechts auf dieser Seite, da gibt es jetzt einen Sprachschalter!) dieses Blogs zusammen. Die meisten der 500 Beiträge sind jetzt handübersetzt, nur Rezensionen und sprachspezifische Dinge (Rätsel und Jahreszeitenglück) haben wir in ihrer Ursprungssprache belassen.

We almost missed it: I already published 500 posts in this blog (the exact N° 500 was the Queen of Hearts !)! This is going to be celebrated, with our favourite guest Lux (as seen above), a little cake for us you, and a chocolate heart box as a thank you for reading and commenting!

Accidentally, the big 500 coincides with the new bilinguality (see right above, there’s or new language switch!) of this blog. Most of the 500 posts are hand-translated now, only reviews and language specific things remain in their original language. If you’d really like to read them, you’re welcome to try your luck with automatic translations :)

Today is the day that happens only every four years! And we celebrate that with raspberry cheesecake (four candles, one for each year in between) and snowdrops. Plus, there’s Hina-Matsuri (雛祭り), the grand girl’s festivity, in Japan on March 3rd and we#LL celebrate on Facebook. (more…)

We just added some fresh postcards to Lily Lux’ electronic greetings today to celebrate Valentine’s day! Next to the seasonal illustrations and delights you may know from our books, we have some animated cards as well and two Valentine specials for lovers and friends and those in need of a hottie! Plus a little snowdrop for early spring. We wish you a heart-warming Valentine’s Day!

We felt honoured to be invited to take part in the Illustrie’s advent calendar projekt, and we are very happy about our own star on their “Walk of Art & Fame”!!!

The advent calendar project is all about the awesome Mr. Sven Elch, employee of the “Santa & Sons” company, and his very special adventures in the advent season… the Illustrie made a hilarious advent calendar app for iPhone und iPad from this.

In our contribution, we show what happens when Mr. Elch personally takes care of the blog’s guests… Thank you very much Stew and Timo for a very pleasant game of visual ping pong! (more…)

Lily Lux hatte nach einigen eiskalten und verregneten Wochen eine wunderbare Idee: Die Regenschirmmitnahme für spätsommerliches Kaiserwetter! Und im Nachhinein scheint es so, als hätten alle Teilnehmer (Dankeschön! ♥) ihre Schirme tatsächlich mitgenommen (insbesondere an den Wochenenden!) – das Wetter war nämlich herrlich: warm, sonnig, trocken und endlich, endlich sommerlich! Ist es nicht wunderbar, dass das mit den Wundern und dem Dranglauben manchmal wirklich funktioniert?! – Pst: Wer noch mitmachen möchte, kann das hier tun!

Ab dem Herbst 2011 gibt es nun auch – sofern wir das zeitlich hinbekommen! – immer mal wieder monatlich neue Feiertagskalender für Ihren Desktop! Mit ganz verschiedenen Feier-, Gedenk- und Aktionstagen sowie den persönlichen Feiertagen von Lily Lux. Viel Vergnügen wünschen wir Ihnen damit, und vor allem: frohes Feiern!

On Lily Lux’ index page, we now installed a little daily calendar that shows all or favourite annual holidays, days of action and memorials*. And we sometime announce them on Facebook as well, and somtimes we have little online celebrations. Today, for example, it’s the most wonderful “It’s gonna be alright”-day, one of our all-time favourites. And in the past weeks, we had a shoting star day, a book lovers day, a day of aunts and uncles, dog day, kissing day, chocolate day and star celebratiosn (at the same day, isn’t that beautiful?), the day of the tree and – last but not least! – raspberry cake day.
